free lunch Create a blog to decry a social issue or start a Bolivarian RevolutionAn elementary school teacher who forgot her lunch one day was forced to eat what the kids eat in the cafeteria. Yuck!

What ensued was a day by day blogging crusade of every food served in the cafeteria in 2010 to raise awareness for inadequate nutrition in school lunches. In a matter of months “Mrs. Q” (the alias for the undercover eater) managed to attract an audience of over 3,000 followers to her “Fed Up With Lunch” Google Blogger blog and got her story heard on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Now that says something about the power of wee little blogs to raise awareness for social issues.
