Who wouldn’t need a random topic generator to help come up with ideas for a blog post/term paper/dissertation/marriage vow? That’s why I created this nifty little topic generator that uses JavaScript, AJAX, MySQL and PHP to give you random topics at the click of a button.

Thanks for the generator! I was searching for a method with which a friend and I could create a list of broad topics. Yes, your script created results a bit specific, but it forced us to really think outside the box to come up with more general ideas like solitude, nudity, competition, flight, and conformity. i have a travel blog. few days ago this head so blank, can’t find great topic to post. i just used the google trend to find what topic to post in my blog. i’m sure you already knew the google trend. yes, just a lil bit topic about travel there, mostly about festival or parade or something like that. and yes, your tool is very-very helpful for me to get what topic to post [World Category].

this really is awesome. i use it everyday now. in my efforts to stay on top of my writing game, i try to engage in freewriting at least once per day. This is something that I would put off if I could not think of a subject to write on. Thanks to this site the process has become very easy to me. I sit down at my pc, open my word processor, load this page, generate a topic, then start writing nonstop until my time/word requirement is met. Now I have no excuses, and my writing is improving! So thanks for making this available.
For me, the hardest part of writing is deciding what to write about..this helps.
